Ruby Pears

WF = wheat free
GF = gluten free
DF = dairy free

Ingredients
4 firm pears, peeled
choice of either 1 cup cranberry, apple or blackcurrant juice
red grapes, to garnish (optional)
Method
Arrange peeled whole pears in saucepan. Cover with juice and
cook gently until tender approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove pears (not juice) from saucepan and set aside in dish.
Bring juice to boil and boil until reduced by half. Spoon juice over
pears.
Serve with small clumps of red grapes for garnish.
Handy hints:
When using large pears, cut in half lengthways and use a
teaspoon to scoop cores neatly out of pear halves.
