Ice-Cream Recipe

This recipe kindly provided by Posi-Pour Monin Syrups

WF=wheat free
GF =gluten free
DF  =dairy free
EF  = egg free
SF  = soy free
CF  = corn free
NF  = nut free
FF  = fish free
V  = vegetarian

Ingredients
2 Litres cream*
6-7 egg yolks per litre (100g per litre)
¾ bottle any Monin Syrup flavour*
Vanilla beans (to taste)
 

Method
Place cream into saucepan, slice vanilla beans lengthwise and add to cream.  Bring to boil whilst stirring.
Take off heat once boiling add egg yolks and Monin Syrup.
Place back on heat, mix in slowly.
Churn in ice-cream machine and then freeze following manufacturer's instructions.

Alternatively
Freeze metal bowl with mixture.  After 1 hour, scrape around sides of bowl, mix in and re-freeze.  Repeat three to four times.  Freeze in plastic container.
